large format photography.info
This (and photo.net) is the definitive gathering place for large format photographers on the web. There are articles on everything from dust spotting and f-stop selection to how to manage bulky equipment on long trails. Check out Tuan's pictures of Alaska!
Photo.net
This is a wonderful online photography community. Use it as a general source for help on equipment and technique or post your photos so they can be rated. The message boards are where I solve 90 percent of my problems.
B&H Photo and Video
This Manhattan-based store has EVERYTHING you could ever need for photographic or video purposes. They have a terrific web site with live customer service, and prices far lower than anything outside New York City.
Modernage Custom Imaging Labs
This is currently my lab of choice here in New York City. I've yet to take 4x5 negs to them or have them do really big enlargements. When I do, I'll report.
Printspace B/W and Color Darkrooms
Rent-a-darkrooms in New York City.
Manufacturers

Wisner Classic Cameras
Wisner makes beautiful wooden large-format cameras. They're great people too. Ron Wisner answered the phone the last time I called them. Take a look.
LowePro Bags
I carry all of my equipment in a LowePro and have found it more than reliable. These things are indestructible and offer a better harness than most internal frame hiking packs.
Ilford
I use Ilford papers for all of my photographic printing. You can find helpful .pdfs here with developing times, contrast grades, etc.
Rodenstock Optics
A great place to buy large format lenses, or more precisely, the most flawless pieces of glass you will ever lay your hands on.
Kodak.com | Film Information
Go here for useful .pdf's on developing procedures for Kodak film.
Large-format Photographers on the Web

Alain Briot Photography
Originally trained as a painter at the Academie Nationale des Beaux Arts in Paris, Alain photographs the American Southwest in both color and black & white. For the quality of his work, his prices are tragically cheap. Visit him today!
Kerry Thalmann | Large Format Images of Nature
Stunning color lanscapes. See is large-format info page for a useful reference.
Roy Harrington Black and White Photography
Some of the better black and white stuff I've seen on the net.
Edward Weston's Official Page
Weston was one of the original masters, along with Ansel Adams. He's as good a writer as he is a photographer. Check out his still-life studies of peppers and mushrooms.
Fine Art Photography by Eric Boutilier-Brown
This guy has some interesting nudes and assorted landscapes.
Ansel Adam's Official Page
I've probably read Ansel's photography books 10 times each. He was an aspiring concert pianist before he turned to photography and his writing--like Edward Westons--is as beautiful as his pictures. Ansel: I bow to thee.
Paul Miller | Photographs
Paul is the friend responsible for getting me into large format. Take some time to browse his entire page.
Miscellaneous

The George Eastman House | International Museum of Photography and Film
Housing the third largest collection of motion pictures in the country (under the Library of Congress and UCLA) and regularly hosting the greatest photographic exhibits (the Ansel Adams and Robert ParkeHarrison exhibits were awesome!), the Eastman House is one of Rochester's underappreciated gems.
